Language learning gets real when students explore culture, trade ideas, and create for an audience beyond the classroom.
FEATURED RESOURCES✨
Cortometraje Project — Students adapt a class story or create an original narrative in Spanish, then script and film a short movie for an audience.
Running Dictation — Post a short text around the room. Partners take turns running to read a portion, returning to dictate it from memory, then checking the completed text together.
Oral Assessment — Use the OPA form to capture evidence of students’ spoken proficiency.
Speaking and collaboration: See About.

TRY THIS TOMORROW ✨
Mini-Market: Snack-Break Challenge · 10 minutes
Give pairs a tiny menu and a $10 budget. In the target language, ask prices, compare choices, and agree on what to buy.
Open the door to PBL: Ask, “How could we host a real class market?” Students list what they would need, then build menus, prices, vendor roles, and invitations for a market another class can visit.
Grab: board + 5 items and prices. Practice: numbers, asking prices, preferences, and suggestions.
